About CarRateHub

Independent insurance education for US consumers.

CarRateHub is an independent publisher focused on making US insurance easier to understand. We cover auto, home, and life insurance the way we would explain it to a friend: what a policy actually does, what it typically costs, and how to shop for it without getting talked into extras you do not need.

Our approach

Every guide on this site is written to answer a specific question a real person is trying to figure out — usually before, during, or right after buying a policy. We favor concrete numbers, real ranges, and specific examples over jargon. When something in insurance is genuinely complicated, we say so and explain why.

We are not agents, we are not brokers, and we do not sell insurance policies. Our goal is to help you walk into a quote conversation or claim call knowing what to ask and what to expect.

How we make money

CarRateHub is supported by advertising and affiliate partnerships with insurance carriers and comparison marketplaces. When you use a link that leads to a partner site and purchase or request a quote, we may receive compensation. That compensation does not change what we recommend or how we rank information.

We do not accept payment in exchange for favorable coverage of any specific insurer, and we do not adjust editorial content based on advertiser requests.

Who writes for us

Our content is produced by a small editorial team with backgrounds in personal finance, consumer research, and insurance. Every guide is reviewed for accuracy before publication and updated periodically as coverage rules and typical rates change.
